Vanessa Ménard

Advanced Modelling and Optimisation for Chemical Processes

Vanessa Ménard is currently completing a Master’s degree in Chemical and Bioengineering at ETH Zurich, following a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from EPFL. She is currently conducting her master’s thesis at Imperial College London in the OptiML group under the supervision of Antonio del Rio Chanona. Her research focuses on advanced modelling and optimisation techniques for chemical processes, including the use of Gaussian process methods within Model Predictive Control (MPC) frameworks. Previously, she completed an internship at Merck Group within the Clinical Manufacturing Group.
