Selma is a visiting master’s student who will be conducting her six-month master’s thesis on the Bayesian optimization of fermentation processes, in collaboration with IFF. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at EPFL in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical and Bioengineering at ETH Zürich. Prior to starting her thesis, she spent six months as a Process Safety Engineering intern at DSM-Firmenich in Geneva.
